social-networks Almost 2/3 Of Social Networking Users Enter False Information

A survey by emedia indicates that about 62% of social networking users are concerned about security of their personal identifiable information. In fact users feeders run so high that about two thirds of social network users already use false information to protect their identity.

The report contains lots of interesting information including data about the respondent’s thoughts on how social networks can be used in business. In fact 87% of all the people who responded think social networking sites can be used for business purposes including networking, exchanging ideas, recruitment, training and vice, research and of course selling.

A very interesting statistic in the report is that about half of the users of social networks have advertising on social networks should be intrusive.
